I've recently identified the movie Heatseeker as the origin of a good clip I got a while back in a trade. It was labeled "Kickboxing Movie", so it took some work, but I like doing that sort of thing. I got a used copy on Amazon and it came today. The movie is aweful, but the freeze scenes are worth it. The hero's fiance is kidnapped to make him fight in this turnament, but the way they do it is by sticking this chip on her neck that makes her go all "vacant stare". Several good activation/deactivations, plus some partial undressing while frozen. I'd say it's on par with STOS's "I, Mudd". Also, if anyone likes damaged male cyborgs, there's plenty of those too (think low-budget version of Terminator).
This will be on the next List update but I was so excited to find it I wanted to give everyone a heads-up right away.

There's always a chance...
Actually, I am planning to capture it, but it looks like it'll have to wait until after Thanksgiving. Ima goin' home.
And don't think I paid $100 for it either. Under the retail price is a little link to the used ones.

Sorry guys, I got the cheapest one, but there's still several for under $10. They're all renters as mine was, but other than a tired soundtrack it plays fine. www.half.com has them as well, or you can check Ebay. I read on one of the sites that the retail price is for the rental companies. I guess they knew it was so bad that it was strictly a "renter". I found it on DVD on Ebay, but it was region 2. Anyone who can play the European disks would be better off trying to find one of those.
If you can hold out a couple weeks, though, I can hopefully post the only bits of it fit to watch. I've moved and reformatted my computer since I've done any capturing, though, so it may take some effort. If anyone wants to try to beat me to it you are very welcome, just let me know I'm off the hook.

Half.com has some copies of this film for as low a 75 cents plus shipping.

You thought I'd forgotten, didn't you? Ask, and ye shall (sometimes, eventually) recieve.
I made a composite clip of all the relevant scenes in the movie, guaranteed 100% of watchable content (8+ MB):

(BTW, you guys owe me for sitting through the whole thing just to make sure.)
Also, here's some stills for the bandwidth challenged:

I'm starting to get the hang of the new software. It's so much easier I feel like an expert, but I'm definitely not. Feel free to post suggestions before I deep six the raw capture files (they take up tons of space), but this was the best quality to size ratio I could come up with.
Merry Christmas
