I was at Suncoast Video when they were running a spot for the Inspector Gadget 2, straight to DVD, movie when they had a clip of the villian using a ray to freeze people in the town. Another website that I can't remember said that the production used professional mimes for these scenes. It comes out on Feb 18. Also the other police officer with Inspector Gadget is a woman gadget cyborg.

I just watched it, and it's very disappointing. Aside from the Matrix-style bullet time freezing and unfreezing sequences, you only see the frozen people far off in the background; there's no good closeups of anyone worth mentioning. If you were going to buy it for the freeze content, save your money.

Sad

It's been floating around on the P2P networks for a while, apparently. I only thought to check yesterday.

mastermind was right about this one!!! there aren't any close ups-there are some hotties in the back ground, but they are so far back in the scenes it almost isn't worth it. i even tried both slow-mo and worked the pause button over, but still didn't get anything worth the effort. don't bother trying to tape it with another vcr. disney protected the tape- so it fades in and out and gets distorted through anything worth taping. the part with people running away from the time-freeze wave in the park, then getting frozen was a nice effort, but again the victims are to far away from the camera. maybe next time........ Twisted Evil

One of the deleted scenes (scooter) on the DVD has a good shot of a woman frozen eating fries. Some of the "making of" clips also have very brief shots of people freezing in place. That's about it, though. Confused

I'm surpirised this movie didn't get more praises. The deleted scene called the scooter chase which shows the the woman eating fries is an excellent freeze scene. It lasts ten seconds. It is very close up and she is very attractive. Also the female robot wears a form fitting uniform, does a good job of robotic movement and is also very attractive.

P2P stands for "Peer To Peer", read "Internet based file sharing networks", kazaa and e-donkey are the most known P2P clientes, but I think all this fever was initiated by Napster, although it isn't exactly a P2P network. A google search will tell you alot more of info

The best freeze in the movie is on the DVD in the extras part.

Its a live freeze with a woman eating a french fry.

Its a really good shot.
