Hi All,

Basement Jaxx had released a video that would make any freeze/robot fan go completely wild. You can view the video at http://www.basementjaxx.co.uk/index5.htm in Real Video format. The video is called: "Plug it In", fitting, no?

The freeze scenes although fairly short, after all a video clip, are very good. The models are made up to perfection, and the freeze/robotic acting is simply the best I've seen in years.

This one surely ranks up with Electrica Barbarella, and in my opinion surpasses it in some areas. Enjoy.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kimy the Living Mannequin

That's a fantastic video, but so far I've been frustrated in my attempts to download it. I've managed to harvest the following information:

http://www.cissme.com/bgroup/rm/xl/basem/video/xls180cd-01_rvh.ram
rtsp://real1.cissme.com/bgroup/video/xl/basem/xls180cd-01_rvh.rm

but I can't seem to do anything with it (the first one just gets you the second line). Net Transporter doesn't seem to do it either. Can anyone better than me at this figure it out?

I was able to save it with Net Transporter just fine, though since I only discovered that program a couple of hours ago I must have been using the latest version. Maybe that's the problem?

Wow. Very good video. It'd be great if someone could find it in a better format other than RealPlayer, though. It's kinda low resolution... (hint hint?)

Outstanding! Very similar to The Cars "You Are The Girl" video, only with a lot more of them! Thanks for the post!

Thanks for the tip, Mastermind, my copy of Net Transport was old, but the new one seems to be acting the same. When I put in the rstp line it just keeps timing out. Anyone else having this trouble, or is it just me? Any additional tips welcome, or perhaps someone could upload a copy somewhere? I'm keen to get a local copy of this, it's really a good one.

It's there. Look in the left column 1/2 way down.

The link you want to right click on is:

Basement Jaxx ft. JC - Plug It In

underneath a gif showing stills from the clip.

Thanks to Cookie for finding this. Great video!

Another download source for Basement Jaxx "Plug It In" video is
www.traktor.com
there is both a high and low resolution Quicktime .mov version available.
