05-31-02 Video Blowout: I finally got the Britney and Sophie clips situated on the server. I'd also like to announce public access to madtrans' huge folder of movie clips on the LMC. Almost all of them are anime and asian, but they're all fantastic. There are no descriptions, it's a free for all. Along the way, I'll post descriptions of the important ones on the movie clips page. 05-30-02 Britney Barbie: Be sure to watch SNL this weekend to see Britney Spears doing a skit as a barbie doll. It's really cute. There is a clip bouncing around, which will be posted soon. I have it, and it's great, but I haven't been able to get it uploaded yet. (4)

05-29-02 Sophie Mannequin: The video we were talking about earlier this month: Sophie Ellis-Bextor's new music video 'Get Over Me' is now part of the LMC (6.48MB, 3:37) It's an amazing video with over a dozen living mannequins, and great mannequin make up jobs. Ever wondered how a mannequin would move when she came to life? This shows it! (5)

05-13-02 Media Lookout: 2 things of note. MP writes to say that there is a great Hanes underwear ad where a girl on a billboard comes to life to look for new panties on another billboard. That sounds neat to see, depending on how it was done. Also, on the MR board, someone has pointed out Sophie Ellis-Bextor's new music video 'Get Over Me', which involves a wedding mannequin coming to life and turning other mannequins to life. Can't wait to see that, but can't seem to find it anywhere yet. (3)

05-08-02 Spider-Man Update: My friends in the stuck community already know about the diamond thief captured in a web scene. But, there is also a very brief Matrix style freeze. It takes place in the school, toward the begining. It's a pretty neat scene, but sadly just doesn't cut it for freeze fans. (1)

05-07-02 Fear Factor Freezes: I don't know how often the show is on, I've only seen it once, last night, but when they are introducing the contestents, they freeze them and rotate them on some kind of base. You can tell it's live and that they are moving because their eyes dart around as their view is changed. Really neat to watch, keep an eye out for it! Oh, and each one last a good amount of time. (5)

05-06-02 New Videos: Two videos I want to mention, both from Stuckfast. One is his most excellent, most recent, stuck film, Thousand Buck Stuck. Check that out on his first webpage, Stuckfast Productions. Second is the final cut of his doll video, Never a Doll Moment. This has amazing freezing in it. It's on discount until the 15th on his Hotmoon website! I've watched both, and I have to say that they are most excellent pieces. Worth every penny. (4)
